I grew up in Sydney’s western suburbs and now live in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney: peace-filled, with clean air and chilly nights even in summer - lovely.

I am one of twelve siblings and in 1975 married Peter Hunt and we produced a beautiful Son, Glenn, now, Director of an NGO in Laos.

The education system failed me, like it does for many children of my personality type. However, I began my working career as an Infants Teacher.

After being a mother, I rejoined the workforce as a Bank Teller, then in Branch management.

I began an undergraduate degree in Communications at UNE in 1995.

I had had piano lessons as a teenager, but at 25 I began learning the ‘cello.

I worked in the banking sector for 9 years, the last 2 in branch management.

I have been working in Jungian Psychological Assessment Training, since 1998 at Institute for Type Development as staff.

I began Tai Chi Chuan in 2000, becoming an Instructor after 4 years of intense training.

I joined the Penrith Symphony Orchestra in 2008, as the tenth ‘cellist. J

I retrained as a Transpersonal Art Therapist and Counsellor, completing Diplomas in 2006-2008. Combining my expertise in Lead Light window making, with art therapy, I developed a unique healing technique where people create a healing symbol and transfer into glass and lead.

Intensive Jungian Analysis (in my 13th year of it!) interrupted the Degree, which is nearing completion, now as “Bachelor Communications: Media and Publishing”.

I currently volunteer in a Play Group: Early Intervention for Children at risk.

I like lots of variety.

Favourite reading is Science-fantasy, & crime books.

My favourite movies and television programmes are science fiction mixed with action.

2011 saw me take up a position as a cook with Ecumenical Christian Welfare, for homeless people in temporary accommodation in outer western Sydney: very satisfying and rewarding.

In 2007 a story wanted to be told, so the Ninja Grandma was born, my first children’s story, published by XLIBRIS. Through this I discovered there are many stories inside me wanting to be written. My children’s stories have a moral that endeavours to assist children to understand the complexities of the adult world.

My second children’s story, Robert Peter’s Garden, yet to be published, began in May 2012.

I continue to work for ITD in an administrative capacity.

I am currently instructing in Tai Chi Chuan, Art Therapy and Dream work in Katoomba.
